Understanding Site and Project Level Data

Learn what site information is shared across projects versus stored per project.

Overview

Sites in XMP can belong to multiple projects at once. Core site information is shared across projects. Project-specific data is stored against the site but for each project it is linked to.

Site Level Data

Site-level information covers:

  • Geographical location (postcode, lat/long, map)
  • Site references and documents attached to the site overall
  • Job history at that physical location

This data is the same whichever project you view the site from.

Project Level Data

When a site is on a project, project-specific information includes:

  • Work types and project fields (site type, technology, access, etc)
  • Project notes and documents
  • Milestones, purchase orders, and forms for that project

Select a project on the left-hand menu of the site details page to view or edit project-level fields.
