How to Clone a Report

Duplicate an existing report and configure it for new projects while keeping the same milestone structure.

Overview

Cloning a report lets you duplicate an existing report's configuration — including its milestone structure — and repurpose it for a new set of projects. This is useful when you want a consistent report layout across multiple productions without rebuilding from scratch.

Cloning a Report

  1. Go to Main Menu → Reports.
  2. In the reports table, find the report you want to duplicate.
  3. Click the Clone button on the right-hand side of that report's row.
  4. In the dialogue that appears, enter a new name for the cloned report, then confirm.

Configuring the Cloned Report

After naming the clone, you'll be taken into the edit report options. From here:

  1. At the bottom of the project list, add any additional projects you want to include in the new report.
  2. Click the Milestones option for the first project in the list.
  3. Review the milestone order down the left-hand side and arrange them as needed.
  4. Click "Done and Sync" — this syncs the milestone order across all projects in the report, so every project shows milestones in the same sequence.
  5. Remove any projects you don't want in the cloned report.
  6. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Viewing Your New Report

Once the settings have saved, click "View Report" at the top of the page. Your cloned report will open with all projects and milestones in the order you configured.

Next Steps

Once your report is set up, you can use it to track progress across projects and manage milestone data. See How to Manage Site Access Using Reports for an example of how reports can be used to track site-specific status.
