How to Add Milestones to a Project

Choose which milestones apply to a project using phases or individual selection.

Overview

Projects in XMP will only track the milestones that you include in them. This means you can create projects with subsets of milestones that suit the project. A design-only project might use design and finance milestones; a rigging project might need pre-construction, rigging works, and finance milestones.

How to Access

Go to Main Menu → Projects, then click the pencil icon to edit the project you want to add milestones to.

Adding Milestones

  1. Scroll to the Project milestones area at the bottom of the page.
  2. Click Add milestones by phase.
  3. Select the phase of milestones you want to add.
  4. Review the preview of milestones that will be added.
  5. Click Create milestones.
  6. Click Update and close to save and return to the projects table.
